Conditions in the 3 Vallées this week have varied from ‘fabulous’ to ‘awful’ to ‘fine’. Rain on Monday left the snowpack wet and heavy but a recent drop in temperature has improved matters considerably.

More of the ski area opens up next weekend, and the first of this season’s international sporting events, the Freestyle world Cup, is being held in Méribel next week.
